Legal notice
Spanish law requires anyone running a commercial website to say plainly who is behind it and how to reach them. This page does that, in ordinary language rather than in the usual block of small print.

Who runs this site
Trading name: AEIA Studios
Legal person: Boris Griggs
AEIA Studios is a trading name used by one self-employed person. It is not a company, so there is no company registry entry, no share capital and no board. If that surprises you, it should not: the studio trades under this name and one person carries the legal responsibility for the business.
Tax identification number (NIF): Y4826126G
Registered address: 67 Cortijuelo, Villanueva del Trabuco, 29313, Malaga, Spain
Email: hi [at] aeia.dev

What this site is for
AEIA Studios builds AI systems for businesses, made to measure for each one. This website exists to describe that work, to let you write to us by email, and to let you ask for our open source repos.
Nothing on this site is a price, a quote or an offer. No fee is published anywhere, no payment is taken here, and nothing you can click commits you to anything beyond what it says next to it. Every engagement is scoped in conversation and then quoted in writing. If you want the reasoning behind that, it is on the terms page.
Nothing on this site is professional advice. The articles describe methods and name public research. They are written to be useful and they are not a substitute for a lawyer, an accountant or anyone else who owes you a duty of care.
Using this site
You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and link to it.
What you may not do is copy it wholesale, republish it as your own, scrape it to rebuild it somewhere else, or use it in a way that would break Spanish law or interfere with the site working for anybody else.
The terms page covers the rest, including how an engagement starts.
Who owns what is on this page
The text, images, brand, logotype and layout of this site belong to AEIA Studios or to whoever licensed them to us. That includes the typefaces, which are used under their own licences.
Other companies are named on this site: clients, tools we use, and the AI assistants our articles discuss. Their names and marks belong to them, and naming them does not imply that they endorse us or that we are connected to them.
If you think something here infringes your rights, write to hi [at] aeia.dev with enough detail for us to find it. We will look at it and reply.
Links to other sites
We link out where a link is useful, particularly to the research our articles cite. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what is on them or what they do with your data once you are there.
Your data and cookies
Two separate pages, both written in the same plain language as this one.
- Privacy policy. What we collect when you write to us or ask for the repos, why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how to make us delete it.
- Cookie policy. What this site stores in your browser. It sets no cookies.
Emails from us
We do not send commercial email nobody asked for. You get a mail from us if you wrote to us, if you asked for the repos (one mail with the links, nothing else), or if you ticked the separate box for updates, in which case we first send one confirmation email with a link, and you get updates only after you click it. Every update carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply "stop". The details are in the privacy policy.
If something goes wrong
Write to hi [at] aeia.dev first. A real person reads that address and answers it. Most things are a misunderstanding and get sorted the same week.
If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve it between us, you can take a complaint to the Spanish consumer authorities.
Which law applies
Spanish law governs this website and anything arising from it.
Changes to this page
When we change it, we change the date at the top. We do not keep an archive of previous versions, so if a version of this page matters to you, keep your own copy.
